MY DECREE FOR PEACE
It is finished.
Hallelujah! We made it to Day Thirty!! We have just sown thirty power-packed scriptures brimming with the promises of God into our lives. Our right to those promises was purchased at the cross of Jesus Christ. If there is any doubt as to the purpose of Jesus being born to a virgin, living a sinless life, dying a substitutionary death and resurrecting in victory; we can look directly at what He said He came to do. He said, “The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 He came to give life – life here on earth and eternal life with Him in Heaven.
The declaration for this last day acknowledges the truth that Jesus exclaimed that His work is finished. Therefore, we can echo that truth to claim the legality of all the promises into our lives. The most powerful weapon we have in our arsenal against the enemy is the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross at Calvary. Whenever we look back at our time doing this devotional may we always remember that it’s because of the blood that we have the right to boldly enter the throne room of grace and activate the precepts and tenets of the New Covenant. We see the promise of peace was paid for at the cross when the prophet Isaiah prophesied, “…the punishment that brought us peace was on him,” Isaiah 53:5 NIV. As we bring this exercise of sowing peace to an end. Let us with reverent hearts and joyful praise exclaim with Jesus – “It is finished!”
