Lift your head up to the hills from where comes your help!

MY DECREE FOR PROTECTION

It is finished.

If we weren’t aware before, we are certainly aware now that we have an enemy. And, he is no slouch. It is serious business and he is out to steal, to kill and to destroy us. He takes no prisoners. I’m getting excited about what I’m going to say next!! Praise break! But glory be to God, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world! Oh, the enemy thought he had Jesus. He thought he had squashed the plan of God for a second Adam when he violently nailed Jesus to that cross! When you think it’s over; when you think you don’t have any fight left in you; when you think the enemy has won and you are done for…lift your head up to the hills from where comes your help! Hallelujah! It was all paid for at the cross. The scriptures say,

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:13:15 NIV

He is alive and risen and we have been given His peace! We have been given His provision! We have been given His protection! Now! What do we do with all these incomprehensible benefits? Jesus did not leave us ignorant. He said these words after His work was finished and He was about to ascend to the Father,

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NIV.

Let us conclude by shouting at the top of our lungs – “It is finished!”
